Kenneth Mbugua is the senior pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Nairobi, Kenya and is a Council member of The Gospel Coalition Africa. He is the Managing Director of Ekklesia Africa which promotes biblical resources for building healthy churches. Kenneth is married to Arlette and they have one child.
Tobie and Mariana helped plant LIG.punt in 2010 in Pretoria, South Africa. The church is now part of a city network called The Union. In addition to pastoring, Tobie is a catalyst for CitytoCity Africa, seeking to help stimulate movements of the gospel in the major cities of sub-Saharan Africa.
One, his wife Confidence and their daughters Amara & Keeya, live in Pretoria, South Africa. He leads Rooted Fellowship; a Gospel Centered, Disciple Making and Transcultural church, planted from a partnership with LIG.punt & Bryanston Bible Church. Rooted Fellowship is now 4 years old and growing at a healthy pace. They have a desire to plant 5 churches in the next 4 years, spread out all over the Gauteng province. He is also the Network Director, Acts29 Southern Africa.
Femi Osunnuyi serves as Lead Pastor of City Church, Lagos. His passion is to see the city of Lagos renewed spiritually, socially and culturally through a gospel-centred movement catalysed through church planting. He wants to see Christian leaders, and particularly church planters, awakened to the centrality of the Gospel for Christian life and ministry. He serves on the Lead Team of Acts 29 and on the Advisory Team of Redeemer City to City Africa, both of which are global church planting organisations. Femi is husband to Tosin and father to Tofunmi and Timilehin. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In his spare time he enjoys following sports results and stories, but certainly not playing any of them.
Dr Matthew Spandler-Davison is originally from Stonehaven, Scotland. He is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen and was awarded a doctorate by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Matthew is married to Tracy and has two daughters. He is a church planter and the pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Church, in Bardstown, KY. Matthew is the Operations Manager for the Acts 29 Church in Hard Places collaborative.
After six years as a missionary to college students at the University of Texas, and four years as an associate pastor at Coram Deo church in Omaha, NE, Will followed God’s call to plant Providence Church in the fall of 2010. What drives his teaching and leadership is a growing hope that the gospel really does change everything. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Will and his wife Debbie are the parents of two boys, Ethan and Holden.
